2008 – A terrific year for Malabo APD

Malabo APD – 3rd Best Breeder among all races, Best Brazilian Rhodesian Breeder 2007 and 2008!

For the second year in a row we got the Best Brazilian Race Breeder Award – Which makes us proud! Among other awards, Malabo breeds are also in the dogs ranking! Among the 10 best dogs in Brazil, 8 are Malabo APD’s.

In the US…

If in 2007 we had the American Championships with Emannuele and Beam, in 2008 Malabo left its mark in the biggest and most prestigious cynophilia world center. Malabo now has 4 American Champions! Jodie Foster of Malabo APD and Dalai Lama of Malabo APD conquered these titles and, this time, a Brazilian handler, our friend and partner Daniel Breim, whom we thank for all dedication and compromise with our project, presented them.

And to top our conquest of American, we had the pleasure of having our Beam of Light of Malabo APD representing Brazil in the opening of the World Challenge/Eukanuba! It was the first time in the history of this competition that a kennel had 5 dogs of its own breed invited for Eukanuba/2008 representing Brazil.

And if 2008 was good… 2009 seems even better!

In January, we went to New York to honor our participation. For the first time a dog from our breed was in the world’s most famous expo: Westminster! Beam of Light of Malabo APD was there, leaving people in awe… And if we didn’t win the Garden, we did win the Race Special!
